Zamia is an Australian mineral exploration company, targeting the Clermont district of central Queensland, a known gold and emerging porphyry mineral province.
(a) Copper-gold targets
- Prioritize and test gold-copper targets within the Company's tenements
- Seek other advanced gold projects
(b) Anthony molybdenum project
- Seek a JV partner or corner stone investor to complete the feasibility studies
- Advance the project towards feasibility
Zamia holds a large package of tenements (thirteen granted mineral titles). Over 15 targets for molybdenum, gold and copper have been identified by geochemical and geophysical surveys. The Clermont district is highly prospective for gold, copper and other metals including molybdenum.
The Anthony deposit is Zamia’s flagship project – a large porphyry-style molybdenum deposit, discovered by the company in 2008. A maiden JORC resource was announced in April 2010. Ongoing drilling has expanded the resource substantially to an updated resource of 318 Mt ore at 390 ppm (0.039%) Mo in March 2012.
